We, Carat & Colour (C&C), have come in the Gems and Jewellery industry with one target – Transparency. We house a wide range of products such as Navratnas, Birthstones, Semi-Precious Gemstones, Malas and Exclusive Gemstones such as Burmese Ruby, Colombian Emerald and so on. We are also aware of how much the customers believe in Gemstones yet do not have complete and adequate information about the same before making the purchase. Thus, at C&C we do not charge any kind of premium for our technical expertise and for being ‘fair’ to the customers, thus maintaining the assurance of reasonable prices and integrity.
A simple example would help you to understand our vision: Suppose a common man wants to buy an apple and visits the grocery market. He tells the vendor; I want 2 Kgs of Apples. Here what the customer didn’t say was which category of apple (Like – Red Delicious, Rome Beauty, Winesap, McIntosh, Jonathan, Stayman Winesap etc.) and all categories have different range and different properties, even though they all are apples. Can you draw a parallel here to the gemstone industry? If a client enquires for a Yellow Sapphire, we will guide him through the whole process of purchase transparently.
At C&C, we are transparent about the products, we provide certification with every gemstone purchased from us (Labs: Gemological Institute of America – GIA, Gemological Institute of India – GII, Diamond & Gem Laboratories of America – DGLA, International Gemological Institute – IGI; as per client’s special request). This helps us give a clear idea to the customer and also help them decide what they actually require. All our opinions are frank and not sugar coated for our profits. We believe in having a long-term relationship rather than a one-time transaction.
